The Shipping Rules Editor gives you full control over how orders are processed, without writing code. Build complex shipping logic visually using conditions, actions, and nested groups — then test your rules against real order data before they go live.

• Visual Rule Builder — Drag-and-drop conditions and actions into logical groups. Supports AND/OR logic with nested sub-groups up to three levels deep.
• Conflict Detection — The editor automatically identifies contradictions, overrides, and rule shadowing before you save. Warning badges surface issues so you can resolve them in context.
• Live Test Panel — Evaluate rules against real order data. See which conditions matched, which actions would fire, and how charges and notes are applied — all before activating a rule.
• Scoped Conditions — Rules can target specific stores, carriers, services, destinations, package values, weights, and more. Quantifier support lets you apply conditions at the item or order level.

eBay joins Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Square, and Miva as a fully supported sales channel. Orders from your eBay store sync automatically into your Postsale dashboard.

• Guided Setup — A step-by-step connection wizard walks you through linking your eBay account, with links to the setup article and quick-tip video.

The onboarding experience has been rebuilt to get new merchants shipping faster. The setup wizard now includes email verification, clearer store connection steps, and smarter defaults.

• Email Verification — New accounts are prompted to verify their email during setup, improving account security from the start.
• Guided Store Connection — Each storefront (Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Square, Miva, eBay) has its own start page with step-by-step instructions and links to help articles.
• Smarter Defaults — New stores auto-select when no other stores exist. Default country is set to US. Origin address titles are pre-populated.

Automation workflows can now be built using a visual, node-based editor. Drag triggers, conditions, and actions onto a canvas and connect them to define your shipping automation logic.

Outgoing emails now support file attachments. Attach packing slips, customs forms, or any other documents to emails sent directly from Postsale.

Postsale now supports USPS First-Class letter and flat package types, making it easy to ship documents, cards, and other flat items at the lowest USPS rates.

Resolved an edge case where special characters in eBay's OAuth redirect could silently truncate the authorization token, preventing some merchants from completing the connection flow.

• Root Cause — A URL-encoding issue with eBay's redirect format caused the auth code to be cut short before reaching our server.
• Result — eBay store connections now complete reliably on the first attempt.

Shopify is now a fully supported sales channel. Orders from your Shopify store sync automatically into your Postsale dashboard.

• Automatic Order Import — Shopify orders appear in Postsale as they're placed, ready to ship.
• Store Field Mapping — Map incoming order fields to Postsale shipment fields so carrier, service, and package details are pre-populated based on your store's data.

Address fields are now validated based on the destination country's formatting requirements. Issues like overly long address lines or missing required fields are flagged before you attempt to create a label.

• Country-Specific Rules — Each country has its own set of required fields and formatting constraints. Validation runs automatically as you enter address data.
• Inline Error Display — Validation errors appear inline on the address form, showing exactly which field needs attention.
• Fewer Carrier Rejections — Required fields (like state for US addresses) are enforced before label creation, reducing failed label attempts.

• Initial Order Status — Set a default order status for newly imported orders, per store.

The Template Assistant brings AI directly into the template editor. Describe what you want in plain language, and the assistant generates or modifies your Liquid template code.

• Natural Language Editing — Tell the assistant what you want ("add a returns policy footer" or "make the logo larger") and it generates the template changes.
• Diff View — See exactly what the assistant changed before accepting. Review additions, removals, and modifications side by side.
• Conversational Context — The assistant understands your current template. Follow-up requests build on previous changes without starting over.
• Feedback Loop — Thumbs up/down on responses helps refine the assistant's suggestions over time.

Postsale now supports USB shipping scales for hands-free weight entry. Place a package on your scale and the weight is populated directly into the shipment's weight field.

• Auto-Fill Weight — Weight is read from the scale and inserted into the active shipment's weight field. Supports both pounds and kilograms.
• Scale Button — A scale icon appears on the weight text field. Click to read the current weight.
• Auto-Reconnect — If the scale disconnects, Postsale reconnects automatically in the background.

The template editor for packing slips, invoices, and email notifications has been significantly upgraded. Edit templates with real-time syntax feedback and visual previews.

• Liquid Syntax Support — The editor now understands Liquid template syntax, with inline linting and warnings for unknown filters or bad formatting.
• Code Suggestions — Auto-completions for Liquid filters, variables, and template properties. Hover over any property to see its type.
• Dark Mode — The editor supports dark mode for comfortable editing during long sessions.
• Folder Organization — Templates can be organized into folders. Drag-and-drop to move templates between folders.
• PDF Preview — Preview templates as rendered PDFs directly in the editor. HTML rendering is used for faster iteration.
• Dimensions & Margins — Template dimensions (page size, margins) are now configurable from the editor UI.

The dashboard has been rebuilt with customizable widgets so you can see the metrics that matter most to your operation at a glance.

• Shipment Status Widget — A visual breakdown of shipments by tracking status. Optionally exclude "Carrier Awaiting Pickup" from the chart to focus on in-transit and delivered shipments.

• Always Current — Rates are automatically refreshed when shipment details change, ensuring you always see accurate pricing.
