Print a Test Label Before You Buy One
Tick Test label on a USPS shipment to print a watermarked practice label that is never billed.
Checking a new printer, a label template, or a packing station used to mean buying a real label to see what came out. A shipment's Package section now has a Test label checkbox. Tick it and the label prints with a watermark, nothing is charged, and the shipment stays marked as a test.
- Nothing to pay, a test label is never billed, so you can print as many as it takes to get the setup right.
- Clearly a test, the label carries a watermark and the shipment is flagged, so a practice label cannot be mistaken for a real one.
- USPS today, test labels are available on USPS shipments. On carriers that do not support them yet, Postsale refuses the purchase rather than quietly charging you for a real label.
