New Feature

Postsale CLI, Now Available by Invitation

Ship from the terminal, from unattended jobs, or through an AI agent, with the same orders, rates, labels, and carriers as the web app.

The Postsale CLI brings your Postsale account to the command line. Sign in once, then search orders, compare rates, buy and void labels, run reports, and close out the day from a terminal, a scheduled job, or an AI agent. Everything it does uses the carriers, rates, and templates already on your account.

  • Direct commands or plain language, type postsale orders search when you know what you want, or postsale run "ship today's ready orders with the cheapest carrier" and let the agent pick the steps. Natural language uses your own Anthropic or OpenAI key.
  • Nothing spends money without a say-so, label purchases, voids, and deletes wait for an explicit go-ahead. Rehearse any purchase with dry-run, or turn on test-label mode to print watermarked labels that are never billed.
  • Built for unattended runs, results come back as structured data with stable exit codes, so a script or a scheduled job can branch on the outcome. For jobs that run without you, use an API key from Settings (Soar plan) instead of your sign-in.
  • Ready for agent hosts, an AI agent that drives the CLI reads a published contract at postsale.com/cli/AGENTS.md listing every tool, its safety class, and how to recover from each error.
  • Mac and Windows, nothing else to install, your invitation includes a signed, self-contained program for your computer, and a built-in doctor command checks your sign-in, carriers, and origin addresses before you ship.

The CLI is currently available by invitation. To request access, email support@postsale.com. Documentation lives in the Postsale CLI help section.
