Shipsurance is built into Postsale.

Protect a package with Shipsurance by Assurant, built into Postsale. Coverage is $0.75 per $100 domestic and $1.25 per $100 international. You start a claim right from the shipment in Postsale, and most claims are paid within a week.

Setup

Set up Shipsurance in three steps.

  1. Step 1

    Turn On Shipsurance

    Go to Settings > Shipment Protection in Postsale and turn on Shipsurance. There is no separate account.

  2. Step 2

    Add Protection to a Shipment

    When creating a shipment, check the Shipment Protection box, select Shipsurance and set the coverage value based on item prices or a custom amount.

  3. Step 3

    Make It the Default (Optional)

    In Settings, you can make Shipsurance the default for every shipment. Coverage applies when the label is created.

Domestic coverage is $0.75 per $100 of declared value, and international is $1.25 per $100. Charges are billed weekly, with no monthly fee.

Can I set Shipsurance as the default?

Yes. In your Postsale settings, you can make Shipsurance the default, so every shipment is covered.

How do I file a claim?

Start the claim right from the shipment in Postsale. The claim form then opens on the Shipsurance site, where you finish it and get your claim number.

Do I need a specific Postsale plan?

No. Shipsurance is on every Postsale plan, including during the free trial.
