Since packages being shipped to international destinations require a bit more handling and specific information to be entered when creating a shipping label, you may wish to separate your international orders from orders being shipped domestically.
The good news is that you can create a filter for your international orders. Then, select the filter any time you wish to view only orders going to an international destination.
REAL-WORLD EXAMPLE
We've started shipping orders to international destinations. Our international orders are showing up in the Orders Grid along with orders being shipped domestically.
We would like to be able to quickly locate our international orders and have only those orders load into the Orders Grid so that we can handle them separately from our domestic orders.
We can help you with that! Let's walk through creating an international filter that can be selected to view only your international orders in the Orders Grid.
Create an International Filter
When creating a filter to locate your international orders you will:
- Use an Advanced Search to find orders being shipped to countries other than the United States.
- Add criteria to the Advanced Search for orders in the Ready to Ship status
- Save your Advanced Search as a Filter. The filter will be added to the Orders Menu.
- (Optional) Separate Domestic from International orders
Good to Know
- You can organize the filter in the Orders Menu. Check out our Manage Filters and Folders help article.
